
CANTANHEDE
To the east of Cadima lies the enchanting little town of Cantanhede, which, in spite of its size, offers all necessary services including banks, supermarkets, shops and small local restaurants. It also has a public golf course.

TOCHA
The little fishing village of La Tocha, a popular summertime destination, is located near the Quinta.
Surrounded by carefully-preserved sand dunes, Tocha Beach has an enormous expanse of golden sand that stretches northwards towards the deserted and almost wild Palheirão Beach. The sea there is excellent for surfing and bodyboarding.

MIRA
This is a very quiet beach, frequented mainly by locals from the Praia de Mira fishing village.
It is a popular summertime destination, with fine white sand surrounded by dunes, bathed by the powerful Atlantic waves that attract many surfers.

COIMBRA
Just a short half-hour drive from the Quinta is the historic city of Coimbra, divided by the Mondego River, with narrow streets, courtyards, stairways and medieval arches.
Coimbra University is one of the oldest universities in Europe. Its historic buildings were classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Outstanding among its incomparable monuments are the Old Location of Coimbra University, The Joanina Library, the Chapel of Saint Michael (San Miguel), as well as its convents, churches and gardens.

FIGUEIRA DA FOZ
The city of Figueira da Foz is located on the Atlantic coast, next to the valley of the Mondego River. It is one of the most important tourist centres in Portugal. It has magnificent beaches, one of the largest casinos in the country, a bullring and an enormous area with sports and leisure equipment and infrastructure. It also enjoys a vibrant nightlife.

AVEIRO
